I grew up surrounded by the entire baking process. My grandmother, Sallie, and my mother, Darlene, taught me at a young age the science behind baking the perfect cake.

Even amidst brotherly scuffles, my older brother Ric and I often baked together.  At the age of 10, he masterfully baked, and decorated my 5th birthday cake!

With these lessons learned, I established Cakes By Coco on the campus of Lincoln University (Jefferson City, MO) in 1991.

My 1st customers were my fraternity brothers, the men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., faculty, students and staff.

In 1996, I relocated the bakery to Atlanta, advised by comedian, actor, philanthropist and frat brother, Joe Torry.

That same year, I baked for the USA Olympic Dream Team and began to build hi-ranking clientele in the entertainment, business and sport worlds.

I'm fortunate to have had storefronts in Decatur (3 years), Stone Mountain (6 years), currently in Tucker (8 years) and in Atlanta for 1 year!

Our #1 seller is the Buttery Caramel.  I've cooked caramel icing for 28 years, on average 3-6 times per week.  It is truly unmatched.  I dare you to find a better one.

Be that as it may, there are no bad choices here.  We have a Dream Team of cakes and I personally recommend them all!
